Career planningwasmeasured using six items developed byGould (1979). The six items use a Likert response format ranging from1 =(Strongly disagree) to 5=(Strongly agree). Sample items include —I know what I need to do to reachmy career goal and —I have not really decidedwhatmy career objectives should be yet (reverse scored). Internal consistency reliability (alpha) was .89. Construct validity evidence for this measure was established through exploratory factor analysis (Gould, 1979).
