Thai AirAsia X is a joint venture of Malaysian long haul low-fare airline AirAsia X. It serves Thai AirAsia's regularly scheduled long haul international flights from Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport. Thai AirAsia X launched its first destination to Seoul-Incheon on 17 June 2014 followed by Osaka-Kansai and Tokyo-Narita on 1 September 2014. Thai AirAsia X is the medium and long-haul operation of the brand Thai AirAsia. The franchise is able to keep costs down by using a common ticketing system, aircraft livery, employee uniforms, and management style.
Responsibility
Thai AirAsia X counter is on 3rd floor in terminal 1 (international departures) at row no.4. Some passengers need our help because they don’t know where they can check-in. Sometimes they go to wrong line because they want to go to domestic check-in counter. When the check-in counter is closed, we have to go to the gate for help staff. Every flight is opened 3 hours before your departure time and closed 1 hour before that time or you can check-in by yourself on website and at kiosk machine within 14 days to 4 hours. We have to work under pressure. For us, we use the knowledge and educational experience. The atmosphere is not at all uncomfortable or stressful. Everyone in the department is friendly and welcoming. There are both simple and complex tasks. During the time, we find the problem and solve it. In addition, we follow the rules and regulations as well. This internship runs smoothly with our intention and the training will be beneficial for our future career.
