Just after starting to winter the oysters in the sea
(day 7), all groups had individuals at coloration level 1
or higher, but on the 56th day of the experiment
(AT19=946) there was an overall reduction in the
number of individuals with adductor coloration. Oysters
recovered to coloration level 0 at cumulative water
temperatures (AT19) of 1807 (90-d period) in Fishery A
(TLI16=314) and Fishery B-1 (TLI16=157), 2717 (126-
d period) in Fishery B-2 (TLI16=145), and 946 (56-d
period) in Fishery C-1 (TLI16=97) and Fishery C-2
(TLI16=102). In Fishery C-3 (TLI16=81), which had
the smallest LTI16 values, almost all oysters recovered at
a cumulative water temperature (AT19) of 946 (56-d
period), but the relapse had already begun when a few
individuals with coloration remained and at 1807 (90-d
period) the 90% of oysters were already more than
coloration level 1.
