immediately after the developed model starts, positions of all pedestrians and a signal control that controls whether a leading pedestrian in the queue proceeds or waits in the network are checked at the interval of 0.1 s. By comparing the number of available booths to the number of pedestrians that have already preceded the available booths, the signal control sends a signal in order to change either green or red. Like vehicle traffic, when the signal turns green, a leading pedestrian can move forward. Once the pedestrians occupy the booths for more than a certain time (here, 52 ± 15 s) they move to exit, and then other pedestrians in the queue get ready to occupy the available booths.
