Eastern Sarus Crane (Grus antigone sharpii) is a large water bird that extinct from the wild of Thailand more than 3 decades and were classified to wildlife reserve species in the Wildlife Preservation and Protection Act, 1992. Zoological Park Organization, Thailand (ZPO) which successes in the captive breed of Eastern Sarus Crane had reduced them to the natural wetland of Huay-Jorakaemak reservoir non-hunting area (HJM) and Sanambin reservoir non-hunting area (SNB) in Burirum province since 2011
