.1. Contrast of demand and offer regarding monitoring activities of diseases
For determining the health status, it is necessary to carry out monitoring activities on a regular basis to determine the status of diseases that are included in the certification process. Therefore the first example compares the importance of information concerning the health status of piglet producers for pig fatteners with respect to the following pathogens: PRRS, Brachyspira, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Mycoplasma, and APP. Results are shown in Fig. 2.
