The authors discuss how the Asian culture is vastly different from the typical Western culture and leader’smust be able to understand these differences before they can lead people in these regions (Carey, et al., 2004). There are many different mythos that may lead to misunderstandings and misperceptions when it comes to global leadership competencies due to the fact that cultures are far from being simplistic.
