In scheduling inspections, try not to have any engineer spend more than a couple of hours on inspections in any one day. When engineers spend too much of their time on inspections, they generally have significantly lower yields. About two or three hours appears to be a reasonable upper limit for any one day. It is also
a good idea to avoid doing inspections on two consecutive days. The best approach is to gather data on your inspection yields as a function of inspection hours per
day and per week. Then you can see where the yield starts to fall off.
