TiOPc can be confirmed by the IR [44] shown in Fig. 2. The peaks
at wavenumber of 1472 cm−1 and 1330 cm−1 are stretching vibration
of isoindole ring and C–C, and the absorptions at 1119 cm−1 and
1067 cm−1 indicated the vibration of C–H. The absorption at 831
cm−1, 967 cm−1 and 723 cm−1 was attributed to the vibration of
isoindole ring, Ti=O and C–H. This result confirmed that the powder
is pure due to no absorption of H2Pc at 1007 cm−1.
The corresponding assignments of MS which identify the molecular
structure are correct. MS (m/z): Found 577.2 [(M-H)+]; Calcd for
TiOPc: [(M-H)+], 576.4.
