Elimination of Manual Work Tracking
Following the Consumer Lines Process-a-thon meeting in Jersey City on July 29 and 30, Pete Aiena and the Global Line of Business Heads; Kim Leggette, Michael Taylor, Michael Carroll and Brent Bland, have agreed that manual work tracking on excel spreadsheets has led to a lot of efficiency and has taken away the focus from our Customer.
Anything that is currently being manually tracked for Claims Management purposes or an SOW requirement will be discontinued effective Monday, August 10, 2015.
It was agreed that the Express FNOL teams Adjusters would be more efficient without having to manually track the many activities that they are currently recording on a spreadsheet, such as customer contact, voice mail, and correspondence.
Manually tracking will be eliminated for the following reasons:
• Manual tracking is negatively impacting customer service
• Manual tracking is negatively impacting productivity
• Manual tracking is not reliable
• Manual tracking is burdensome
• Manual tracking used to produce reports to the LOB Heads are not considered valid if the data does not come from a system
• Many of the reports produced from manual tracking are ignored, not read or not used for any other purpose
Any concerns or questions, please contact Pete Aiena, Michael Carroll or Debra Lumen.
