Hence, to utilize automation into traditional manual library systems actually impacts not only on the structure of the organization but also on the performance of the library employees . Furthermore, the automated operation is more abstract that makes library staff sense a loss of control in the automated environment. The reason is that the librarians perceive that they are not able to operate all automated library systems by themselves. On the contrary, they have to depend upon computer technicians in order for solving some technical problems. In addition, they have to learn new information technology which sometimes is far beyond their background knowledge.
