Your printer should be set up before proceeding. If setup has not been completed, you will not be able to press the wireless button or touch the wireless icon on the printer to view wireless information on the printer display.
NOTE: Ensure there is no Ethernet cable attached to your printer when you try to connect your printer to your wireless network.
Press the Wireless button on the printer control panel or touch the Wireless icon on the printer display.
You will see the connection status on the Wireless menu, which will be one of these:
"Connected", with the signal strength shown.
"Not Connected", "Searching" or "Wireless Off", with no signal strength shown.
Do one of the following:
If you see "Connected" and some signal strength, select I see the status is Connected and the signal strength, and then select Next.
NOTE: The next screen will ask you to enter the IP address shown on the display so that the computer can search for the printer. Be sure to enter the IP address exactly as it appears. All numbers, including zeros, and all dots must be entered.
If you see "Not Connected", "Searching" or "Wireless Off", and no signal strength, select I see a status such as Not Connected or Wireless Off (or I am not sure), and then select Next.
You will then be guided through connecting your printer to the network.
