You awoke in the back of your minivan as the sun filtered though the windows. You blinked a couple of times as you awoke. You then rubbed your eyes as you looked around. Not looking where you were putting your hand it ended up on something soft and squishy.
When you looked down you noticed your hand was on Kurumi. She had fallen asleep right next to you even though you told her to sleep in the front. The most important thing at that moment wasn't where she was sleeping however, it was where your hand was.
It was a place that gave her a good reason to slap you right when she woke up.
"Geez (f/n)!" She said as you were back on the road, rubbing your right cheek where she had slapped you with one hand while keeping the other on the wheel. She sat in the passenger seat and looked extremely annoyed but was also blushing a bit.
"You've got to give me a few moments before you do that. I'm not ready for that in the morning."
You looked at her and grinned. You had come to see her in a brand new light now that you were dating her. After a while of living with her you finally decided to try your luck and ask her out (why you haven't done this already is past my comprehension). Safe to say you were shocked when she actually said yes.
Eager to show off to your friends that a beautiful girl is actually your girlfriend you made plans to let them meet her. When they did it turned into a hilarious disaster. You had built up the idea that she was a calm collected beauty to them and when they met her that's what they were expecting. Though that's not what they got.
Instead she acted around them the way she acted around you when you first met her. That is to say bitchy as hell. She never even showed them any of the sweet qualities that she hinted towards you. To be honest you couldn't help but laugh as your friends looked between the two of you with faces of absolute shock.
Though the good feeling didn't last long. A couple days afterwards Kurumi busted into your house yelling.
"We have to go now!"
"Wait why?!" You shouted as she started packing both of your things.
"There are people after me and now that they now that I'm staying with you they're after you too."
You flashed back to when you first saw her. You remembered that she was being attacked by people flying around on jet packs. Getting the feeling that those were the people that was making Kurumi rush you get busy packing as well.
"Aren't you stronger than them though?" You asked back in present time. If you remembered correctly she had been kicking their asses when they fought.
"Even if I did beat them more would come and I can't exactly take you to my home with me."
"Why is that?"
"Because I'm not even sure where my home is."
"Seems like a problem."
You both laughed and talked some more about random things. It was relaxing to the point that it didn't seem like you were being hunted. That feeling didn't last long. Out of nowhere there was the sound of sirens and jets.
Looking in the rear view mirror you saw several cop cars and girls with jet packs.
"Shit!" You shouted as you slammed your foot on the gas. You hated yourself for not paying attention.
As fast as you tried to go it wasn't fast enough to outrun the cops, there was no chance of outrunning the girls with jet packs. Soon you were surrounded but you didn't stop. That is to say, until they shot your tires and your car flipped a few times before landing on the hood.
Your head smacked the hood and you fell unconscious. The last thing you remember was the sound of Kurumi screaming and blood dripping down onto the hood of your car.
Since you were out you didn't see the look on Kurumi's face as she crawled out of the car and faced everyone who had chased you down.
She would kill all those who hurt her love.
