The original flora in the reconstruction zone was cleared away, allowing for the growthofnewplantsinthesecondarysuccessionstage.Theexperimentaldesignprocedure (Figure 1) began with preliminary tests, which mainly involved the reconstruction of the collapsing parts in the flood irrigation zone and the establishment of QA/QC (Quality Assurance and Quality Control). After the preliminary tests, the formal experiments includedwaterqualityanalysisandtheobservationofflorainthefloodirrigationzone.The resultsfromtheformalexperimentswereintegratedtoindicatetheeffectofflorasuccession on the removal rate of deleterious nitrogen and phosphorous concentrations.
