Meyers and Nulty (2009) suggest that for maximum a student-learning outcome, academicians need to
develop courses in such ways that offer students teaching and learning materials, experiences and tasks that are
relevant in the real world.
Additionally, the tasks need to be constructive and interlinked and provide a challenge
to the students while also acting as a motivation factor.
Adopting of effective teaching to match the personal
strengths of the students ensures that a student’s learning outcome is achieved (Meyers & Nulty, 2009).
