This is super delicious mulberry variety with large sweet and juicy jet black berries that in some ways resemble ripe blackberries. It grows beautifully in our AZ garden near Phoenix, without any problems or stress from our extreme summer heat. It is super fast growing variety and started producing on the first year after we got it as a tiny baby and grew 10 feet the first year . It has long ripening season, around 8 weeks or so and we enjoyed picking berries with my children everyday, twice a day. What a treat !! Pictures are from our berries and believe me, they are very good !!!
Our tree stays so far around 15 feet tall after 2.5 years in the ground. We love this tree and enjoy it tremendously every spring especially. Delicious berries start ripening here in AZ around March . Yummy !! Huge heart shaped leaves look so tropical on this tree and it gives us great shade in the summer.
Mulberries grow well from cuttings taken in spring or early summer and will be ready for transplant by the following year and might even produce some berries that year :)
We are offering 5+ nice size cuttings for sale, up to 7 '' long, which will be cut fresh. They will be around pencil thickness size, a bit more or a bit less, just the right size to root :)
