Strain A tended to yield more carcass skin than strain B. Females had significantly greater carcass yields, more total carcass skin, and greater fat and dry matter content in thigh meat than males. Birds slaughtered at 14 weeks hand greater carcass yields, more thigh meat, breast meat, and total meat, more total skin yields, and more fat and dry matter in thigh meat than those slaughtered at 12 weeks.
