Law, Wong, and Mobley (1998) have demonstrated that, when
conducting structural equation modeling (SEM) analyses based
on multidimensional concepts, the parameter estimates obtained
are sensitive to the model specification used. Several studies have
used SEM to test competing models (Bigné, Andreu, & Gnoth,
2005; Law & Wong, 1999). Building on the research objectives
and the characteristics of multidimensional constructs (job satisfaction
and job performance). SEM was used to address four research
questions.
