• Identify business potential and up keeps close contact with former and potential clients through personal visits, phone calls and correspondence in view of entering into contracts with them.
• Accomplish goals and to adhere to quota as set out in the marketing plan.
• Ensure that the sales team meet clients requirement and that the client service offered corresponds effectively to their requests. In the event of complaints made by clients, should the need arise, to avail him/herself as mediator between the hotel and clients & guests.
• Ensure the availability of after-sales services and, in particular, concerns him/her with clients who have registered complaints.
• Draws up together with sales team, sales promotion and packages.
• Enter into negotiations on behalf of the company however it must not to exceed the limit of his/her authority.
• Maximize hotels market share within his/her area.
• Entertain supporting and prospective clients when necessary in order to maintain or develop a long-lasting and growing relationship.
• Organize and attend trade show when requested.
• Keeps himself/herself well informed about products ( Hotel facilities and catering )
• Forecasts future business pattern and provided trade feedback to the management.
• Monitors and supervises his/her team’s production and activities.
• Develop and foster good rapport with the public, clients and members of the trade in an effort to ensure and promote a good image of the hotel.
• Ensure all sales advertising and public relations efforts provide optimum profit returns.
• Follow/Create the special project that assign from GM or DOSM.
• Lead daily sales briefing and conduct group briefing.
• DOS is familiar with the operation and application of the hotel’s computer/data processing system.
• Update company & guest information to GM/DOSM on monthly basis.
• Follow Sales Policy & Procedure (P&P) which issues by DOSM.
