It can be seen from Table 5 that
after the hydrothermal process, the organic chlorine content of
the products was low than that of the raw MSW, and the increase
in the reaction temperature (A11 compared with B11 and B22 compared with C11) and the holding period (A11 compared with
A21 and B11 compared with B21) would further reduce the organic
chlorine content. An experiment with less amount of raw MSW
(B31) also resulted in lower organic chlorine content, suggesting
that the mass or the reaction surface is also an important parameter
for the dehydrochlorination
