This study was designed to investigate what is the most reading strategies used between high and low TOEIC score fourth year English major students. Moreover, this study also find out what is the least reading strategies used between high and low TOEIC score fourth year English major students. The study was conducted with 25 high TOEIC score fourth year English major students and 25 low TOEIC score fourth year English major students.
Data were collected through questionnaire to investigate what is the most and least reading strategies used between high and low TOEIC score fourth year English major students.
To analyze the data, the results were calculated by percentage. The results indicate the most reading strategies used between high and low TOEIC score is Scanning. The least reading strategies used between high and low TOEIC score is Making an Inference. High TOEIC students tend to use of reading strategies with a high frequency. 7 out of 10 reading strategies are more used among high TOEIC score students.
