4.4. Establishing a market-driven program
When a significant share of the community has already adopted the technology, it is now time to bring in more innovation in service delivery to reach out to slow responsive community members.
As the late majority segment of the society are often cautious in their decision-making about a new technology, value additions will need to be provided for the technology.
This can be, for example, addition of more efficient lights for a SHS to increase the number of lights for a given capacity of a system.
Incentives that were introduced earlier would need to be slowly phased out to create a program that is market-driven.
