4.3. Effect of temperature
The effects of temperature on increasing oil recovery from rock
with 196 mD were investigated with various amount of membrane-forming materials when the concentration ratio of highsolute fluid and low-solute fluid was 2:1. The rates of oil recovery
increased with temperature with all the different mole concentration of membrane-forming materials, as shown in Fig. 6.
This indicates that the osmotic pressure increases with higher
temperature, which is consistent with the definition equation of
osmotic pressure.
