You are My Sisters from Another Mother
To those friends who were not solid enough, even if I cannot tell my deepest secrets to you, even if you haven't been there constantly, even if you were only there during the fun times, I still thank you. You've been part of my happy life. Thank you for making me experience things which I haven't experienced before.
I'm grateful that you taught me how to break a few rules. Thank you because you made me realize and treasure memories. Thank you for showing me that we're friends only when I left; that I was only remembered because I was missed—at least, I knew I was missed. I say that with no bitterness, at all.
Thank you for making me learn how to treasure and seek real friendships.
To my close friends, thank you for the fun. Thank you because you were there. Thank you because you made me laugh. I couldn't imagine my life without you. You were there when I needed you, but there are really situations and revelations that will make you realize things. Maybe there are really some people you get along with, but there are only very few you wish to stay with for life. Nevertheless, you are all awesome. Thank you so much for the friendship!
Although it's not the best one could ever have, it is rare to bump into people you can be with no matter what.
To those oh-so-solid friends, thank you is not enough for your constant presence. Thank you for being the best. Thank you for tolerating me. Thank you for staying with me in this journey. Thank you for everything. Can this friendship last for a lifetime, please? Thank you for showing me what friendship is—that it is more than saying how good a person is but also pointing out her flaws, that it is more than malling and gossiping but also listening and sharing, that no matter how different people are, they can still get along. That no matter how many times you get irritated and mad at someone or how many times you insult and say things to certain people, at the end of the day, it would still be them who you would end up with and who you would choose to spend your next days with. I believe that in this lifetime, it is not impossible to find the solid ones.
