Sample selection
A purposive sampling technique was applied in the study.
In selecting the sample size, a walk-through survey was
conducted in the target areas. This process was aimed at
identifying the career groups most at risk by using five
criteria: 1) the career group involved at micro enterprise, 2)
encountered high risk at work, 3) work period continuity was,
at least, one year, 4) the number of members in the group
were between twenty to fifty, and 5) the extend to which the
career was popular and distinctive in the community.
