Stickney and Andrews (1972) found that growth of 2g catfish fed diets with 8% beef tallow triglyc- erides and 2% soybean lecithin (total PL and PC composition of soy lecithin undisclosed; 620.3mg/kg supplemental choline chloride added to the basal diet) was lower than that of fish fed a diet with 10% beef tallow triglycerides. Survival and feed efficiency were not improved in catfish fed the diet containing 2% soy lecithin with all treatments exhibiting 85% or greater survival and 1.4 or better feed conversion ratio.
