It is believed that without happiness people’s lives are empty and meaningless. I strongly agree with such a statement and find happiness really important. Although the definition of happiness is vague, every person uses his own words to describe it from their own perspective.
People come in all shapes and colours. They all have different ways of thinking, dreams and goals in life. Therefore, the way they would describe happiness is unique. For some, happiness is a positive emotional or spiritual state of the mind and soul. For others, happiness is based on material objects and financial stability. However, all people by nature strive for happiness and positive experience even if they do not know what it actually is.
There are many factors that bring a sense of fulfilment to people. For example, family, friends and a romantic partner may help people feel loved and appreciated. It is widely accepted that nothing makes people happier than their loved ones. For instance, being socially accepted and cherished by others is what reduces tension between people. This leads to a healthier and happier lifestyle. Money can also bring a sense of happiness and security to people, especially young families with little children or sick people with complex medical conditions or diseases. Money can resolve our daily problems and give us the opportunity to travel or pick up different enjoyable hobbies. Thus, we can enjoy our life more.
Happiness is vital for people’s lives. A better world with a brighter future involves happy global citizens that enjoy their lives. For the reasons described above I believe happiness is crucial and fundamental for everyone.
