Leaves on the tree create marker
occlusion which results in poor data. In addition, manually
defining branch topology to exactly match the subject tree
is labor intensive. In this paper, we design a data collection
and tree modeling process to overcome these difficulties by
building a similar, but not exact, copy of the branching
structure from a partial collection of branch tip positions.
Ongoing work focuses on replaying collected motion such
that the motion looks natural on an approximate copy of the
branching structure.
