(Information Only)
During function test by factory application process of rework, we found abnormal noise and it was caused by a bracket's bending.
DC MOTOR:DUPLEX:EXIT (AX060464B)
- Operator removed the motor unit with a bracket from the machine to check rust (rework purpose). But no rust. This original motor unit was reinstalled to the machine without replacement.
- Due to motor unit removal, the machine was turned on and processed function test by a factory application.
- Operator found Abnormal Noise
1. Investigated the motor unit and found a gap between the motor and the bracket. (See photos)
2. Disassembled the motor, gear and bracket. And hit marks were found on the bracket and it was bent.(See photos)
3. Tried to replace to Good bracket and re-assemble with original motor and gear. >> No abnormal noise occurred
It is inferred the abnormal noise is caused by the bent bracket. But not sure when this condition happened.
We have received the replacement parts already. So we will keep watching.
