At Gas train
The main valves are checked automatically at each start-up. It is suggested that at monthly intervals the gas pressure gauge between the main valves is observed during the valve seal checking sequence. Although the pressure may not be sufficient to activate the pressure switch a small change from the commission settings may be observed, indicating that a fault condition could occur in the near future.
Since the gas train and burner are subjected to vibration, check that there is no fracturing of welds or loosening of nuts and bolts.
Clean UV Scanner
Test (leak test) safety shut-off valves for tightness of closure.
Test air pressure switch settings by checking switch movements against pressure settings and comparing with actual impulse pressure.
Visually check ignition cable and connectors.
Inspect impulse piping for leaks.
Inspect all the top of the burner air and gas entrance ducts and taps.
• Make sure that the following components are not damaged or distorted:
o spark plugs
o flame sensors
o taps on top of burner
