End use of the ethanol is combustion in a dedicated ethanol automobile using 100% ethanol (E100).
Emissions produced from combustion in a vehicle are modeled in GREET using a dedicated ethanol automobile with a
100% ethanol fuel.
E100 fuel is used as the final end product (without any blending or additives) so that direct LCA comparisons can be made with gasoline.
