In e-learning systems, learning activities are based on learner autonomy and interactive
learning actions; in addition, learning instruction is based on multiple media and
ill-structured formats. Furthermore, e-learning also offers cooperative learning opportunities.
Based on activity theory, the purpose of this study is to examine learners’ attitudes
toward e-learning systems. Indeed, understanding learners’ attitudes toward
e-learning systems is necessary to ensure that e-learning stands the best possible chance
to succeed.
