We refer to your submission listed above Ref. No. 1 responding to CSCBL’s request under letter Ref. No. 3 regarding the captioned subject.
We have reviewed the said submission and found that the proposed Emergency team and plan are acceptable. CSCBL would emphasize some specific preventive measures in order to avoid any complaint and unforeseen incident for a long Songkran Holidays April 13-16, 2014 as stated in PMCBL’s letter and MRTA’s facsimile Ref. No. 2 and No. 4 covering main issues as the following:
1) For dust prevention, the Contractor should assign a team to keep on spraying water over the construction area.
2) In case of unpredictable heavy rain which may occur during long holiday, the Contractor should clean and clear mud on the construction site.
3) For all Utility Relocation works on Public roads, temporary returning of road surface for public use shall be managed for traffic safety. Steel Sheet or Concrete Covers shall be fixed properly for avoidance of noise nuisance smooth driving and safety especially for motorcycle.
4) Traffic warning light and warning signboard shall be fully installed over the construction area closing to public roads.
5) Provide fast mobile team to assist the accidental persons and improve the construction area in case nearby vehicular accidents or vehicle in collision with concrete panels, etc.
6) Cooperation with local authority officials upon request.
In addition, an emergency team should be provided to solve all impact during long holiday and designate the responsible person throughout 24 hrs.
