this study corroborates that satisfaction and breath use
of incumbent IT may emerge as a major hindrance to switching to
cloud services. Our findings have presented that the use of existing
software become highly sticky for end-users and difficult to be imitated and replaced by alternatives. In particular, our results
showed that higher satisfaction and breath of use increases the
barrier for end-users’ switching and makes it harder for competing
information technologies (e.g. Microsoft Office vs. Google Apps) to
lure away existing users. Thus, cloud service providers need to
establish a strategy which allows their cloud computing to be customized by the users in as many ways as possible or even better,
make it easier for end-users to develop their own extension to
the cloud computing
