Polyphenol and flavonoid contents of M. oleifera
extracts
The polyphenol content of ME and DE were determined
by Folin-Ciocalteau assay. As demonstrated in Table 1,
the result showed that amounts of polyphenol were found
in both extracts. ME had a higher content (216.45±4.64
mg GAE/g extract) than DE (100.12±3.70 mg GAE/g
extract). In this study, the flavonoid content of M. oleifera
extracts was determined using the aluminum chloride
