Compared with the status quo and relatively closed farming culture of the central plains, the Hui’an culture in the north of Fujian has its unique marine culture breath. The marine culture, represented by sea fishing, is famous for its risky and forwardlooking spirits. The image of Hui’an women with yellow bamboo hat, flower headscarf, blue blouse, black drum pants and silver belt, addresses the costume of eastern part of Hui'an a fancy and mysterious regional feature. Working by the sea all the year round reflects their bearing the burden and the spirit of perseverance.
