2.6. Enzyme extraction
Fermentation was terminated by adding cold buffer solution (50 mM acetate buffer pH 5.0) in a 1:2 ratio w/V and homogenized with IkaTurrax homogenizer in 3 cycles of 15 s. Extraction was carried out at room temperature for 1 h. The obtained mixture was centrifuged at 5000 g for 15 min. Supernatant, in the form of crude fermentation extract (FE) was used for further analysis.
