Results and discussion
In order to distinguish effect of vibration on PEMFC, firstly, the
polarization curves under vibration conditions was obtained,
then the different operation conditions on the dynamics
response with and without the effect of mechanical vibration
was compared and discussed, along with visualization images
of the water distribution in the flow channels.
The polarization curve under vibration
Fig. 3 shows for low values of frequency and amplitude of
stack vibration, both current density a slight increase. This
may be due to that vibration of the PEMFC improves the excess
water removing, which prevents it from flooding the GDL.
However, this cannot be supported based on these results
only.
