Thank you for your called today.
Please be informed that the visa and work permit are handle by 2 authorities in Thailand.
The work permit is handled by Employment Department and the work permit will be valid for 1 year from the submission date of work permit application.
For example, if we submit the work permit application of expat employee on July 7, 2016, the work permit will be valid until July 6, 2017.
The visa process is handled by Immigration Bureau. Once the applicant enters Thailand with a Non-Immigrant “B” visa, this kind of visa will be valid for 90 days. Upon submit the visa application to the Immigration office, the immigration office will grant the visa on the first years same as the last date of a Non-Immigrant B visa.
For example, if the applicant enters Thailand with a Non-Immigrant “B” visa on July 1, 2016 and this Non-Immigrant B visa will expire September 28, 2016. Once we extend the visa for the first year of this applicant, the visa will be granted until September 28, 2017.
However, as the service agreement of Adecco & Picsolve for Mr. Timothy and Mr. George will expire on May 17, 2017, the Employment Department and Immigration Bureau cannot renew visa and work permit of these 2 expat beyond validity of service agreement. Then, the visa and work permit renewal of 2 expats will be granted until May 17, 2017.
