Foucault reminds us that "history" is by no means an objective truth, but instead one of many interpretations of the past. Please describe an event - from history or your own personal experience - that has more than one interpretation.
To go along with this kind of thinking, this module discussed Japanese internment as an example of an event that was omitted and then eventually added to the canon of American history. Many of these kinds of situations have still not had any kind of "resolution" in the canon of history. Please describe either another instance in which canonical history was changed to include new information or an instance where the canon of history still has not been changed to include the complete reality of an event.
