A microextractionmethodforthedeterminationofnickelandleadusingsolid–liquid–solid dispersive
extractionfollowedbyionicliquid-baseddispersiveliquid–liquidmicroextraction(SLSDE-ILDLLME)was
presented.Itwasappliedtotheextractionofnickelandleadfromfoodsamples.Ammoniumpyrrolidine
dithiocarbamate (APDC)ascomplexingagent,[C4MIM][PF6] asionicliquid,SiO2 as nanoparticlesand
2 molL1 HNO3 as eluentwereused.SeveralimportantparameterssuchasamountofIL,extraction
time, pHandvolumeofthecomplexingagentwereinvestigated.Thequantitativerecoverieswere
obtained atpH7.0foranalytes.Undertheoptimumconditions,thelimitsofdetection(LODs)calculated
using 3(Sd)blank/m were0.17forNi(II)and0.79 mg L1 for Pb(II)foraqueoussolutionswith125
enrichment factor(EF).Thelimitofdetectionsoftheanalyteions (3(Sd)blank/m) forsolidsampleswere
0.09 mg g1 (Ni) and0.40 mg g1 (Pb). Theaccuracyoftheproposedmethodwasconfirmed bythe
analysisofstandardreferencematerial(1577cbovineliver)andspikedrecoverytest.Theproposed
method wasappliedtodeterminenickelandleadlevelsinchicken, fish andmeatsamples.
