Hi may,
we don't have a real rain season overhere, altho our fall can be described as rainy.
i have undrestood from Simon that your winter is still very warm, but thats probebly becouse were not used to the tempretures you have is Thailand.
I'm also very happy when our winter ends, snow is nice, but it normaly is just a couple of weeks before it melts and the weather gets rainy again.
of all seasons i like spring the most, seeing fresh leafs grow on the trees, birds wistling, and life apearing everywhere.
its the most wonderfull time of the year imho.
i think you'd love snow the first time you'd see it, everything white, the crispy sound underneath your feet, all streams/rivers/pools frozen. (the tempreture would be the only thing shocking to you)
its a wonderfull sight and it makes you apreciate the heating systems, keeping it nice and warm indoors.
when i was young, my mother used to shut down the heating at night, she didn't see any reason to keep the house warm when you were in bed asleep. i preferd staying in bed underneath the sheets when tempratures dropt below zero, but my mom wouldn't allow that to long..
now i live on my own, i prefer to keep the heating on, mutch more pleasant getting out of bed...
(altho the tapping sound of rain on the windows makes snoozing in bed a verry nice thing)
take care, looking forwart to your next mail
