Two action targets were selected from among the most important feedback and reflection results.
They were items assumed to have the biggest effect on learning outcomes, e.g. if several students
reported motivation problems, the teaching should be improved to become more motivating.
When using course feedback as a tool in developing courses and teaching, it is not possible for a
teacher to respond to all student opinions. The feedback is often contradictory, and there may be
conflicting improvement suggestions that realistically cannot be put into practice. For instance,
the following diametrically opposed student feedback comments were received following a Safety
in Plant Design course.
