In this work, MASE–SPE, a ‘‘green microwave’’ extraction approach,
was successfully applied for the extraction of eigh carbamate
pesticides in rice. The recoveries ranging from 66% to 117%
were obtained with RSD values less than 9.1% for all analytes.
The LODs were in the range of 1.1–4.2 ng g1. Compared with the
published methods, the proposed method was simple, the consumption
of organic solvents was reduced and the extraction time
was short in MASE–SPE. It was supposed that MASE–SPE as a rapid,
effective and environmentally friendly sample preparation method
showed great promise for the extraction of carbamate pesticides in
complex solid samples such as rice.
