a day job by definition is not a chosen profession or a career a day job is something you do to earn money because you can't survive doing what you really want to do . There's nothing inherently evil about day jobs, although we do tend to blame them for everything, but the truth is that they can be enormous pains in the behind and enormously depressing, if we let them be.
