Even though I can't stand Katy Perry, I did find myself absolutely loving her second fragrance, Meow. I loved it so much, in fact, that I decided to give Purr a try.
Well, to be honest, I don't think there's anything remarkable about Purr whatsoever. The fragrance might not work with my body chemistry, but I find it to be VERY weak on my skin. I feel like I would have to spray more than a couple of spritzes for the sillage to be a bit stronger. The scent doesn't linger on me at all either. Disappointed about that.
When I first spray Purr on my skin, the notes I notice the most are the red apple and the white florals. Within minutes, the vanilla and the coconut come out more. After that, more the of the musk comes out. For me, Purr starts off as a clean scent, then a sweet clean scent, and then into a scent that reminds me of hairspray. It's not a bad hairspray at all, but it certainly smells synthetic and completely unremarkable. Maybe if I sprayed this in my hair I'd enjoy it more?
Overall, when comparing the two kitties, I definitely prefer Meow! Meow has a lot more personality, it smells better (in my opinion), and it lasts longer.
