Codes were then condensed into categories and were systematically
linked to the core category.
Coding and categorizing involved constant comparison.
When the researcher coded and categorized incoming data, the
researcher compared new categories with those that had already
been established. As concepts and categories emerged during
data analysis, the required theoretical sampling continued to
allow the researcher to develop richer data. Throughout data
collection, memos were written about the researcher’s ideas
related to provisional categories, findings were compared and
thoughts were focused on the research. Simultaneously, available
literature was reviewed along with the data analysis.
