Located on the Niveskhiri hill also called Historic Hill, Rattana Rangsarn Throne Hall commemorates the Royal palace built at the top of it and where King Rama V stayed when he came to Ranong in 1890. Dismantled, it was replaced by the building of the city hall in 2002. Just stay this small teakwood building with a furnished room for the king and one for the queen and a few historical explanations and photographs on panel inside. The wooden building sits behind a landscaped place.
