I just received a very distressed call from Dr. Chantana, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing. Because of the leaking roof, the students on the top floor have no electricity and some rooms are wet when it rains. Some students have been sleeping in the hallway for the last three days.
According to Dr. Chantana, Plant Services was contacted, but nothing has been done so far. The Nursing students have a heavy schedule and a lot of assignments. It is not only an inconvenience, but this is affecting their health and their academic performance. Students and teachers are upset and stressed out by this situation.
We are all fully aware that our means are limited in terms of personnel and finances. However, it appears that this is an emergency that must be addressed right away.
Please give instructions so that something can be done immediately to bring relief to our students.
Your kind assistance will be deeply appreciated.
