From our call, I summarized where we’re now. Pls confirm all thing captured here right OR correct me if anything different:
• Overall, lacking anti-blocking’s why it happened. Zacros team keeps investigation to understand why it’s passed & update later.
• For short term solution, from mid Oct, 15, Zacros TH keep current material structure & started 100% reworking all pouches. MPD did monitoring implementation plan whole last month & it’s proved that there is no sticky pouch happened again after supplier reworking.
• To fix this issue systemically, Zacros TH conducted increased anti-blocking level from 600ppm to 1400ppm & applied this change for 1 lot: GCAS: 97411573, lot#: 2D151207-125C.
• For improved lot, initial observations are:
o Lab test data showed that improved material’s matched all MPMS requirements.
o After pouch making, Zacros check appearance of finished pouch & found sticky pouch happen in box 8 (1 master roll is made into 8 boxes of finished pouch. No sticky issue for box 1 to box 7. But in box 8 (film’s near paper core), sticky found in body & bottom of pouch)
However, something’s unclear. Pls response below concern:
1. For lots improved additive level, for pouch from box 1-7, how many samples/ box we checked sticky performance? How about method to check it?
2. What’s your plan for sticky pouch found in box 8? Why the sticky happened for box 8 only?
3. What’s different between additive level in current Thai pouch, improved pouch vs JP pouch?
4. How about future plan to fix this issue for pouch in box 8?
5. As shared via call, the only concern is how increasing additive level impact to sealing temperature & sealing strength. I need sealing parameter in pouch making for improved additive pouch. How about the testing data?
To minimize impact to P&G production, we approach 1) P&G trust & rely on supplier solution so we expect just GOOD material be delivered. 2) For NOT GOOD pouch, pls keep at your site OR make sure 100% reworking before sending to P&G. Otherwise, off-quality material will follow normal Complain/ Claim process.
